do not listen to specific verb rule for dialogue. stick to he said, she said.
do not yield to temptation of adverbing.
USE ACTION TAGS instead.
"I don't want any." and stared straight forward.
"you're harassing me. I'm done with this," he said defeatedly.
He fell silent "you're harassing me. I'm done with this."
